Stitch Fix May 2017 Review

Stitch Fix Review May 2017 #stitchfix #fashion #style

May has arrived and the sun has been shining bright here in SoCal! It’s been all tank tops and flip flops for me lately and I’m loving it. My Stitch Fix May 2017 box contained exactly what I needed right now including some new tanks, a fun kimono, capri jeans and gorgeous earrings! Read on to find out more about what I received…

Paradigma Gwenifer Kimono

This Paradigma Gwenifer Kimono was definitely love at first sight! I don’t even own a kimono or anything similar to this and I thought the sheer floral look was just stunning. At $54, I figured it was a great buy to bring more color into my wardrobe. In the photo below, I paired the kimono with a top and jeans from this same box as well as my Toms Stella Wedges and Romolo Feather Pendant from previous Stitch Fix boxes.

Prosperity Tabetha Capri Skinny Jean

Capri jeans are a fave of mine during spring and summer months, but I have a tough time finding cute options that fit well. I was so excited when I tried on these Prosperity Tabetha Capri Skinny Jeans, they seemed almost perfect, but a tad bit snug. Not a problem, since I was able to easily exchange them for a size up during the Stitch Fix checkout process! At $78, they seemed like a great buy and I paired them in the photo above as well as the two below.

Colette Charleene Woven Hem Split Back Knit Top

The lively color of the Colette Charleene Woven Hem Split Back Knit Top caught my eye right away, as did the fun woven hem and split back. For a mere $38, I had to have this top! I wouldn’t mind having it in 10 more colors to be honest. Pictured both above and below, it’s comfortable, versatile and super cute for a dressed up spring look!

Skies Are Blue Jemma Crochet Front Knit Top

The Skies are Blue Jemma Crochet Front Knit Top was the only thing in my Stitch Fix May 2017 box that I wasn’t in love with right away. I don’t wear much white or cream and wasn’t too fond of the crochet detail. However, my husband saw me try it on and said he liked it, so I had to take that into consideration. Priced at $54, I may have still sent it back if it weren’t for the fact that I was keeping everything else, but now I’m glad I held onto it!

Marlyn Schiff Theresa Pave Open Shape Drop Earrings

For a very long time I shied away from gold toned jewelry. I’m not even sure why to be honest. All of a sudden I’m all about gold and have acquired several great necklaces that have been begging for equally great earrings. These Marlyn Schiff Theresa Earrings are the answer! Priced at only $28, this was a no brainer, total keeper!

Stitch Fix May 2017 Recap

I think my Stitch Fix May 2017 box just might be the best one I’ve ever received, so a big thank you to my stylist Emilie!! Since I kept all 5 items, I scored a 25% discount which ended up being $63 (hence why keeping that last top made perfect sense). After my styling fee credit of $20, all of the above items came out to just $169 plus tax! Seems like a good price for five great new items to add to my closet.

Intrigued? Visit Stitch Fix and fill out your style profile to get started. You’ll pay just a $20 styling fee for each shipment, which is credited towards anything you purchase. Five items will be shipped to your home to try on, you keep only want you want and send everything else back postage-paid! Have fun!
