Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully you all had a fabulous holiday season and celebrated the New Year in grand style. I rang in 2017 in Las Vegas wearing my 41Hawthorn Arnette Jumpsuit that I received from Stitch Fix a year ago this month! I also carried my Street Level Amber Calf-Hair Clutch from my March box. I’m slowly starting to realize that Stitch Fix has taken over my closet!
Level 99 Shauna Skinny Jean
My Stitch Fix January 2017 box was again full of fun and fashionable pieces. Paired with all of the tops below are the Level 99 Shauna Skinny Jeans, priced at $118. Although they were a bit snug, I really loved these jeans as they were the perfect length for me and super comfy. However, with the holiday spending hangover, I resisted the temptation to exchange them for a size up and just sent them back. Boo!
Renee C Goldhaber V-Neck Blouse
The colorful Renee C Goldhaber V-Neck Blouse (above, $48) caught my eye right away as I loved the print. I thought for sure I would end up keeping this top and almost did. I actually put it on to wear for Christmas dinner and decided looking in the mirror that it was a bit too baggy, which you can’t really see in the photo. It was much longer in the back too, something that I definitely don’t prefer, so sadly this went back too.
Colourworks Felix Buckle Detail Cardigan
The Colourworks Felix Buckle Detail Cardigan (above, $68) is such a fun and colorful cardigan. I love the buckle detail and the bright cranberry color. This was another one I was on the fence about, but I really had to stick to a budget this month with the holidays in full swing. Being that I already have a similar colored cardigan, I decided to also send this item back.
41Hawthorn Queensland Dolman Jersey Top
I feel like I always have to keep something from my Stitch Fix boxes to make good use of the $20 styling fee credit. Keeping a cute black top was a no-brainer for me! This 41Hawthorn Queensland Dolman Jersey Top above is comfortable, versatile and priced right at $48. It was the one item I knew I would definitely wear, and I already have!
Jules Smith Pema Pave Twist Hoops
I like these Jules Smith Pema Pave Twist Hoops, but priced at $58, I just didn’t like them enough. I could definitely use more gold tones in my jewelry collection, so I really had to think twice about these earrings. They do seem high quality and durable, but perhaps the price was a bit too high for my liking. They too were sent back.
Stitch Fix January 2017 Recap
I really loved my Stitch Fix January 2017 box and wish I could’ve just kept everything! Unfortunately with the holidays here I had to allocate funds elsewhere.
