Happy Summer everyone! My Stitch Fix July 2016 box arrived this week and had a bunch of fun summer tops in it, just what I needed! There were a lot of keepers this month, so I’m very happy to be adding to my wardrobe. Read on for details on the 5 items I received this month…
Papermoon Iglesia Pleated Blouse
I knew as soon as I saw this Papermoon Iglesia Pleated Blouse that it was a keeper. I can’t resist anything navy blue and the lightweight material makes it perfect for warm summer nights out. Priced at $48 it seems like a reasonable deal for the quality and feel of the fabric. I wore it for a night out in Vegas this past weekend and it was extremely comfortable and paired well with jeans of all sorts.
Skies Are Blue Misa Embroidered V-Neck Top
The Skies Are Blue Misa Embroidered V-Neck Top is another fun lightweight top, even more summery than the last. I don’t tend to buy much in white, but this top just feels so cute and girly. It goes perfectly with my cutoff jean shorts to hit the beach but can also be dressed up with capris for Sunday brunch. At $44 I thought the price was right to add something new and different to my closet!
Daniel Rainn Dorothea Mixed Material Top
The Daniel Rainn Dorothea Mixed Material Top was very appealing to me out of the box. The combination of the dark navy color with the embroidered tank straps and little string-tie in back make it really cute and unique. I don’t love the $64 price tag for a little tank top though, so this was one I had to think about a bit. What I did realize is that if I bought the whole Stitch Fix July 2016 box, I would get a 25% discount of $62, making this top practically free!
41Hawthorn McAdams Beaded Neckline Blouse
I adore the color of this 41Hawthorn McAdams Beaded Neckline Blouse! The fit isn’t my favorite, it sort of just hangs on me, but oh that color! Priced at $58, It’s cute worn casually with capris or shorts but the fabric makes it easy to dress it up too. It unbuttons partway down in the front which is a nice styling option to have. I didn’t really want to keep this, but there’s that whole 25% discount thing if I keep the whole box…
Romolo Montana Metal Starburst Necklace
I was undecided about the Romolo Montana Metal Starburst Necklace. It has a decent price of $34, but is very similar to something I just sent back to Rocksbox (use my code stylishlysocialxoxo for a free month!) I wore it out a few times in Vegas though and it kind of grew on me. I could do without it, but I do think I’ll wear it a lot.
Stitch Fix July 2016 Summary
My Stitch Fix July 2016 box is the best one I’ve had in a while. Sure, not everything was perfect, but it was all cute and fit well! I was on the fence about a couple of items, but really wanted the Papermoon blouse and Skies Are Blue embroidered top. I also really love the Daniel Rainn top, but the price was a little high.
I decided that for the first time ever, I might as well just keep the whole box! I saved $62 and with my $20 styling fee credit, I nabbed everything on this page for $166. Not bad, right?! Want to try Stitch Fix for yourself? Just fill out your style profile at StitchFix.com to get started!
