Save the date for Thursday, November 13th as Farm Fresh To You brings you an exclusive fall harvest farm-to-fork dinner at Fish Public in San Diego! Meet farmer Thaddeus Barsotti and enjoy a fabulous just-from-the-earth meal prepared by Urban Kitchen Group chefs Joe Magnanelli and Mark Schmitt. This unique dining experience will include a reception and 4-course dinner paired with wines and will feature the season’s best organic ingredients. Best part is, it’s all for a great cause, the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank!

During the evening, farmer Thaddeus and the chefs from Fish Public will share about their inspiration behind making the meal, the farm-fresh ingredients and the passion behind sharing seasonal dinners with people like us. Farm Fresh To You and Fish Public restaurant have a desire for sharing sustainable and seasonal food with their customers. They both feel it is important that people make the connection between the food we eat and the land that grows our food. I definitely plan on being in attendance and also posting a recap of the event here on Stylishly Social. All proceeds from this dinner event will benefit the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank (JCSDFB) which provides food to people in need, advocates for the hungry and educates the public about hunger-related issues. The Food Bank feeds nearly 320,000 people every month in communities throughout San Diego County. In the fiscal year 2013-2014, the Food Bank distributed nearly 20 million pounds of food to individuals and families in need.
